I LOVED Fangirl!!! I thought it was amazing! I hope you enjoy all your reads:)
Thanks! I have both RR’s books in hardcover, but I couldn’t pass up the e-book copy for $1.40.
Now I just need to get Attachments!
Thanks for the heads up earlier this week on the sale on Shadow & Bone and Siege & Storm. I’m looking forward to reading them both. You know how much I love The Art of Letting Go. I hope you do, too. Great haul!
My StS
Nil sounds really good, I hope you enjoy it! And you got so many great books, but also great deals. I loved Fangirl, All Our Yesterdays, Emerald Green, and Enclave (I love Fade so much, I read Horde, the last book in the series, and it was fantastic)! Great haul and have fun reading!
Wow some really amazing books, not sure where to start. I am dying to get my hands on Ann Aguirre’s books, think I will cave and order them this week. Rainbow Rowell is another author that I am planning on reading, I’ve heard some great things. Got approved for Nil this week, need to work out some way to read it as I can’t download it to my Kindle. Have just been approved for In The Blood, it looks really great. Enjoy all your reads. My STS.
I read Shatter Me recently, but it was a bit disappointing. I will read on, but I’m in no hurry.
Happy reading!
My haul
I hope you like Unravel Me. I think I liked Tahereh’s writing style in book one, but her story really picks up in book two.
Thanks (as always!) for stopping by!
Cool haul. Happy reading 🙂
My Stack
Thanks Shane!
I bought four of the books you did because of you. Seriously, though, THANK YOU again for telling me about the deals! I also think I might have to pre-order The Opposite of Loneliness, and once I get around to reading Beautiful Creatures I’ll probably be pre-ordering Dangerous Dream too. I have high hopes because I really liked the movie 🙂
YAY! This makes my heart happy. ❤
And once you read Beautiful Creatures you are going to be blown over at how much better it is than the movie. I'm really excited to see some spin off books coming out, because I was sad when the series ended. Even though I read them well after the books were all out, lol!
*laughs* Yes, I have experienced many of the same feelings with series that ended before I even started them. Most recently it was with Gail Carriger’s Parasol Protectorate series and then the friend of mine who had recommended them to me told me about the prequel series and I think if it was possible I would have reached through the computer screen and given her a great big hug (she lives in Australia so that’s the only way it could happen…). I LOVE book series like that – and standalones too, but I tend to feel it a lot more with series since so much more time is invested in the characters.
Which is why series are SO great! The sad part is SO many series I’m invested in ended this year (or will the first month or so of 2014). I’m kind of sad to not have those books to look forward to anymore. There’s something magical about knowing there is so much more to find out.
And then there are books like HP where you’d wait in line until midnight and devour the book all too soon only to feel like a chunk of your heart was left in the pages. Sigh.
