Stacking the Shelves (19)

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

I’m kind of embarrassed by just how many books I acquired this week.  I went a little crazy when Harper Collins released their newest catalog on Edelweiss.  What can I say, I have book problems!

    • I couldn’t pass it up for 99c! And yes, I was really excited about After the End. I don’t think I’ll be waiting too long to read the ARC, even if it doesn’t come out for months.

  1. I almost went crazy on Edelweiss this week too, but I actually restricted myself to only two Harper Teen titles. Yay me! I really want to read Steelheart, I hope you like it! Here’s my STS.

  2. Wow, a ton of awesome books for you this week! I’ve been seeing Don’t Call Me Baby everyone and really need to get myself a copy of that one! I’ve read Steelheart and it’s SO GOOD! Seriously, it’s probably one of my favorite reads of 2013. And I love that cover for Saving Lucas Biggs! I hope you enjoy all you got 🙂

    Here’s my STS!

  3. I had to grab Poison Princess as well. I’ve already read it, but I didn’t have a copy. Ninety-nine cents was just too good of a deal. It’s such a great book! The HarperCollins titles look really good. 🙂

    Enjoy the books!
    My STS

  4. I really want to know what you think of Stardust. I tried reading it earlier in the year but something about it kept me from getting very far. Which is really disappointing since I really enjoyed Coraline, The Graveyard Book and American Gods :\

    • I LOVED the movie, so I am hoping it will follow suit and be even better.

It’s funny, my sisters really loved that movie when it came out. I tried watching it once and was bored. I tried again and it was SO good. I couldn’t believe I waited all that time to see it. I didn’t originally know it was a book, but found out later. Otherwise, I would definitely had read it first!

          • Yeah, I did that by mistake with Coraline and although I love the book, there are still times I’m like ‘why was that only in the movie?!?!’ It’s terrible! Still, at least I enjoyed both. It could have been one of those times when I found the movie terrible compared with the movie.

  5. Wow that’s a really impressive haul! We have a few in common this week and I am especially excited to read After The End and The Murder Complex. I really need to buy myself Not A Drop To Drink, have heard amazing things 🙂 I hope you enjoy them all 🙂 My STS.

Lovely words from lovely people!
