It’s Top 10 Tuesday (hosted at The Broke and the Bookish) and the topic is:
Top Ten New-To-Me Authors I Read In 2013
2013 was a GREAT year for me book wise. I was finishing a lot of series I started back in 2011, but I also found a lot of series I had missed over the years. So, I got to read books back to back, which quite frankly is SO much better than pining away for a book. But, never the less, there were some amazing authors who wrote some amazing books that changed my life. Interestingly, all of them are women, which is fabulous! Each one has written some of my most favorite books.

So, that’s it. What about you? What authors did you read (and love!) for the first time in 2013?
Sarah J. Maas was on my list, but these other lovely ladies I have yet to read. Rainbow Rowell is being made a priority for 2014 for sure though!
You have SO many great books in your future!
Yay for Sarah J Maas! You have a few authors here that I have yet to read books by, like Rainbow Rowell and Rae Carson. I hope I’ll get to them soon! 🙂
BOTH excellent and highly recommended!
Ahh, Rowell seems to be a favorite across the board. She is definitely number one for me!
She is pretty darn great 🙂
So many good books on your list! I like how you put the authors in different categories, so clever! Great list!

I couldn’t rank them by numbers, I mean… yeah, I am just in love with so many of them, there would be 5 #1’s.
Oh and I started No Place Like Oz tonight. LOVING it so far!
I’ve yet to read any of these authors, but a few are most definitely on my to read list! 😀
Oh man, do you have some amazing books ahead of you!
