It’s Top 10 Tuesday (hosted at The Broke and the Bookish) and the topic is:
Top Ten 2014 Debuts I’m Excited For
There are SO many new books coming out this year. And SO many new debut authors. Here are ten that I’m beyond excited to get my hands on!
Top Ten 2014 Debuts I’m Excited For
So, that’s it. What are some of your 2014 debut books?
We have two of the same books! Learning Not To Drown and Far From You
So many good ones! I put Dorothy Must Die on my list as well!
Pointe is on my list, too! Really excited for Murphy’s and Sharpe’s books as well!
I used to be a dancer, so I know I’d be intrigued by that aspect, but the concept sounds REALLy good.
You’ve got some great books on your list 🙂 I have Far From You and Side Effects May Vary on my list too. I’m liking the look of some of the others. Learning Not To Drown looks brilliant.
There were just so many good ones to choose from! I had to leave a couple off that I would have loved to add too. I was surprised how many were contemporary as well.
I’m excited for Dorothy Must Die. This is a book I absolutely NEED. lol
I KNOW! I feel like a stalker about this book, because i can’t stop talking about it. Come on April!
Learning Not To Drown is new to me but sounds really interesting. I like the idea of the family dynamic and how we see each other. Will be adding to to my tbr list.
I love books like that. I think having a dysfunctional family helps, haha 🙂
Awesome list! I also have DOROTHY MUST DIE on my list. I’ve heard awesome things about THE WINNER’S CURSE and LOVE LETTERS TO THE DEAD, so I’ll be adding those as well.
Here’s my Top Ten.
Anne Aguirre was raving about Winner’s Curse and I’ve been pining for it ever since. And LLTTD just looks adorable.
Really awesome last! 🙂 I have Side Effects May Vary on mine as well but in definitely stoked about my new finds from here.
I actually got the galley for SEMV, but I’m too excited about it to leave it off the list. I am pretty stoked to read it (and all the others!)
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
Oh awesome! I want a copy of all of them now, ha ha! 🙂
Oh and I would give you the link to my post but I’m just on my phone WordPress app and I can’t figure out how to do it here. Sorry. 🙂
I found it 🙂 Thanks for the heads up!
No problem! 🙂
Gah! I forgot Dorothy Must Die! How?!
I was telling someone earlier, I feel like a stalker towards that book, because I am so obsessed with it.
Awesome picks! The Winner’s Curse was FABULOUS, but I don’t think it or Uninvited count as debuts because the author’s have previously released YA novels. Still, they’re worth being excited about. I haven’t read Uninvited yet, but I keep hearing great things, and it’s making me want to push it to the top of the pile. 🙂 I think the one I’m most looking forward to is Side Effects May Vary, though…I really hope that one is as good as it sounds!
I’m so thrilled you included SCINTILLATE on your list! Thank you, thank you! In today’s news: Debut Author says, “Somebody pinch me. You mean OTHER people besides my best friends and mother are going to read this?” 🙂
Uninvited was really good, and one of the many good things about it is that it’s not actually a debut, so if you like it there are more books by Sophie Jordan to read while going through Uninvited withdrawal! Dorothy Must Die is another one I’m excited about, as well as Love Letters to the Dead (I’m super jealous of everyone who has an ARC of it. NEED.)
Side Effects May Vary is also on my list. Oooh…Scintillate sounds good, I’m adding it to my TBR list.
I JUST got approved for Scintillate on Netgalley. *Happy Dance* You should go grab it up!
Great list! I’m so excited for so many of these and they made my list too. Dorothy Must Die looks sooooo good, can’t wait for that one! There seems to be so many good books coming out in 2014, I’m not sure where I’ll find the time to read them all. I hope you get to all of your picks 🙂 My TTT.
I completely understand! At the beginning of the 2013 season I was sad so many of my favorite series were ending, because I was thinking “what am I going to read now?”… Yeah, obviously THAT is not going to be a problem!
So many great books on your list! A few of them I have on my to read list already but I just couldn’t include on my top ten list. Now to investigate the three I don’t know much about…
Yay for more books to be excited about! There were seriously SO many more I wanted to include, it was crazy.
