Top Ten Worlds Books That Made Me Cry

Yeah, so this is awkward.  I have a thing about books that make you cry. I kind of seek them out. Why? I don’t know. I like to torment myself, I suppose.  When I went to make this post, I counted 48 books in my Goodreads that could be on this post.  And that was grouping series as one book.  So, obviously I have issues.  And this post was incredible difficult to choose just ten.

A Year in Review — Hello 2014, Goodbye 2013!

2014 is finally here if you can believe it (I can’t!).  In some ways, 2013 was the longest year and in others it flew by.  It was definitely a year of challenges, but it ended a lot better than it started.

PLUS, I found my place in the world when I came into this blog.  So, I can’t help but be thankful for that.  Here’s a little review about 2013, as well as my look forward to 2014!

Super 6 Books that Scared The Bejeebus Out Of Me!

As a kid, I LOVED books (duh!), but I particularly loved books that would scare the hell out of me.  And I paid the price, after reading books like The Shine, It, etc. at like 10 or 11 — I am still a (tiny) bit afraid of the dark.  But, there is something about a book that can scare you — it is a controlled scare, which makes it fun without a lot of risk.  SO, here are six of what may not be the most scary books in the world, but six that definitely scared the bejeebus out of me.
