It’s Top 10 Tuesday (hosted at The Broke and the Bookish) and the topic is:

Top Ten Books On My Fall 2013 TBR List

Oh the angst of waiting on your soon-to-be favorite books.  Here are five I’ve read and five I haven’t, but all I’ve pined over.  And the five I haven’t read, well… I own four of them.  The life of a person with too many books and too little time.

Top Five I HAVEN’T READ

1. Allegiant

Obviously.

2. Crown of Midnight

The worst part of this one is that I now own it and haven’t had time to read it. AHH frustration!

3. The Bitter Kingdom

HECTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR.

4. InfinityGlass

I read this book in May 2011 right after I read Divergent.  So, it’s been a long time coming to read the conclusion to this series.

5. Fangirl

I’ve been waiting for this since the moment I laid eyes on it.  It sleeps next to me at night.  It’s on my night stand waiting to be read.

Top Five I HAVE Read

6. These Broken Stars

I wanted this book just to stare at the cover.  So, when I finally got it, I devoured it.  And now it is my favorite (so far) of the year.

7. Shades of Earth

Here’s another series I’ve been with since the very beginning.  And Beth Revis did NOT disappoint.

8.  Unravel Me

After the brilliant conclusion to Shatter Me, I was waiting rather impatiently for this one.  AND it was worth it, even if it wrecked my heart and mind.

9.  Requiem

After the cliffhanger in Pandemonium, I couldn’t wait to see how everything played out.  This book gave me one heck of a book hangover.  And it was worth it.

10. With All My Soul

I started this series in December, and there were so many books to gobble up.  So, when I got to book five, I was pretty sad to realize I had to wait until March to see how everything ended.  This book completely wrecked me.  I still can’t think about it without tearing up.  It has impacted me in a way I never realized a book could.  It was a seriously awesome ending to a series.

So, that’s it.  What about you?  What setting did you pick this week?

  1. Allegiant, Fangirl, These Broken Stars, I can not wait to read all of those books soon XD
I’ve read Across the Universe by Beth Revis but still hesitating to read the sequel (and now the third book is out…), don’t know why, but glad that you said it did not disappoint. I might give the sequels a try later! 🙂

  2. great list! i think you are like the 10th blog to have These Broken Stars which makes me want this book really badly. Currently reading Crown of Midnight, and Fangirl was fantastic. I really want to start The Hourglass series too. Happy reading!

  3. Haha I love so much of this TTT, mostly the side comments about how you have too many books, and some of them sleep near you at night. I’ve been hearing some great things about Crown of Midnight lately, time to give it a try!

    • I know, I know, I keep hearing this, but I feel SO guilty reading it when I have all these ARC’s to get through. Then I start thinking will I read that or Fangirl and then 5 hours has gone by and I haven’t started anything. It’s a vicious cycle.
