Recently, I participated in a blog tour for Saving Rain by Karen-Anne Stewart. If you don’ remember, the book dealt with several heavy issues – sexual abuse, human trafficking, and relationship (physical) abuse. In an interview with the author, I learned more about her research into human trafficking and just how common it is in this day and age.

In her research, she learned about a non-profit organization known as The Polaris Project, which works to help victims and put an end to human trafficking.

Heavy stuff. But it is something important that tends to go ignored. We don’t think of it happening every day all over the country and the world. And so, Karen is starting a campaign to raise money for the Polaris Project.
